Day 34/365 Frozen willow

This is my willow tree that I planted when we moved into this house 8 years ago.  It has grown pretty large since then and I really like it a lot.  When it's all bushed out in the summer time, sometimes you can see a bird on the branches, but usually they're pretty well hidden.  This picture shows 2 birds on the frozen willow that is shining from the sun hitting it.  I don't really think the composition of the picture is that great, but it was all I could do since I didn't want to venture outside today.  I've only managed to get up to go to the bathroom and eat today.  The rest of the day I've been in my pjs and robe sitting on the recliner watching movies or playing video games with my kids.  I'm NOT ready to go back to school tomorrow, but if I don't go back soon, I may never be able to get up off of this recliner!

  1. Vibrant sky and way to catch the "iciness"

You caught that terrible disease - "chair-itis" oh no! At least you managed to get up to go to the bathroom ;)

PS I'll be posting much later tonight.

  2. The ice has been really beautiful. I've seen lots of things that were picture worthy. I like this different view of your willow.
    Brace yourself for school tomorrow.
